Time to breathe in the desert landscape with our latest project in Rancho Mirage. Just two hours south of Los Angeles, repeat clients commissioned the Pearl House Design team to build, from the ground up.
Our assignment: "I want the outside to feel very Tuscan and quiet. Inside, it should feel bright, colorful, and a bit modern. A home for family and friends to linger." - Mary May, client

'California Ranch' a familiar style of architecture for most of us...and presents all kinds of interpretations. This particular one, my former personal home, was my laboratory. I worked with the existing kitchen and bathrooms, updating decoratively only...but the balance of the home received a major re-do from top to bottom. Custom walnut floors, hardwood tongue-and-groove ceilings, double crown hardwood moulding, upholstered walls in every room, and lot's of personality. What I enjoyed most about this home, is that it's design story developed over time.
